Things, Things, and More Things

I had many things

earlier in life:

happy birthday,

Christmas things,

friends and family

gifted things,

bought for myself,

things and things,

Moving, I had to

get rid of things,

sold or threw away  

my things,

donated, or left

behind my things.

An old man now,

I miss my things,

and find myself

collecting things:

yard sale, curbside,

Goodwill things,

bought it online,

impulsive things,

filling space, dust

collecting things,

zero emotional

attachment things,

no regret leaving

behind me things,

but for now,

they're all for my

enjoyment things!
