Blue Sea Glass and Other Rare Finds is 269 pages of poetry and prose about the life of a beachcomber (me) and about life itself. I take the reader along with me as I return to the beaches of my youth on Long Island.

This work was the inspiration of a sister of mine. When a planned cross-country, novel-writing, road trip was aborted due to the breakdown of my VW bus and an unexpected surgery - major bummer - being a hopeless Polyanna, she suggested I write a book about preparing for the road trip. And, voila!

Prelude to a Groovy Roadtrip chronicles our ups and downs and killing time in Key West from where we had intended to launch our original journey.
A creative twist was letting my VW bus, Vinnie van Go, be the author and poet, writing poems in his words and looking at Key West through his "eyes."

This book is packed cover-to-cover with festive pics and poetry. But reader beware, Vinnie tends to be a little raw with some of his writing.
