I most likely could’ve

stretched my life out

twenty more years if

I gave a shit,

If I cared at all about

what I ate, and didn’t

drink barrels of booze

on top of it.

Living more healthily

is no guarantee

that I’d never get

hit by a truck, so,

Deep fried food is the way

that I prefer to go;

eating for pleasure,

not giving a fuck.

Pleasure while I’m alive

is what I’m living for -

to seize the moment if

and when I can.

There will be no pleasure

to be had in the grave.
