Premature Percolation

Gregory is groggy, his head is foggy, yet, he’s managed to get coffee ready.

While it’s perking, disaster’s lurking; dicing veggies, his hands so unsteady.

It’s too much work. He’s going berserk; opts for a beer and leftover spaghetti.

He unplugs the pot, (the veggies can rot); closes the blinds and it’s back to beddie.
