Soulful Repose

All I’m now asking from this life, is for a special spot: somewhere not too cold, somewhere not too hot;
Where the morning sun rises, the afternoon sun sets; where I may tarry my days in bliss with no regrets;
Where I can eat off the land, or from the deep blue sea; praising Mother Nature for all she gives to me.
No bills, no worries, not a care; living happily alone; no Internet, no TV cable, no need to have a phone;
Walk the beach, ride a bike, sleep beneath the stars; away from a world gone mad, its people, and their cars;
Read my vintage book collection; write stories from the heart; so others may know of me long after I depart.
Is it asking for too much to rest awhile in peace; to revitalize this weary soul, before its body and mind decease?
